1:

Don't mount the Antenna Unit directly to metal or inside the side pillars (to the left & right of the front windshield).

2:

The 1355's transmitter may not be able to control the system if you install it in a vehicle with special films applied to the windows which have metal particles that can block or negatively impact RF communication.

3:

The includes remotes are NOT waterproof or dust-proof. And although they will survive most drops, please take care not to drop them!

4:

The 1355 is a product that replaces older model 1350. The remotes look the same but they NOT compatible with each other.

5:

If your vehicle has a factory alarm, you cannot use the 1355 to control Door Locking (unless your dealer can disable your factory alarm).

6:

On vehicles equipped with a Remote Starter that has a "Vehicle AUTO LIGHT Disable" feature, you must DISARM the 1355 BEFORE you shut-off the engine via the Remote Starter.

7:

The 1355's Control Module is exactly the same as our 1370's Control Module, but because the 1355 has newer firmware the 1355 can be upgraded with Factory Keyless control functionality (via the optional 318-16X interface) whereas the 1370 cannot. (Unfortunately, we are prevented from updating the 1370's firmware to add new features due to strict Japan VAS security system certification rules. VAS also prevents us from offering a TX-36 3-button remote kit as an option for our 1480 security system.)
